Gorge ParkWaterway/The Japanese Garden

Gorge Park

The Gorge Waterway Park in Saanich runs the length of the Gorge, an inlet connected to Victoria Harbour, from Tillicum Road to Admirals Road.

You can start your walk at the Tillicum end, site of the Victoria Canoeing and Kayaking Club, or at Admirals Road.
Japanese Garden at The Gorge. The Japanese Gardens at Esquimalt Gorge Park was the first Japanese Gardens in North America, but the gardens fell victim to neglect and vandalism when the Takata family was relocated to the Interior BC and beyond during the early stages of WWII. In recent years, the township of Esquimalt has taken steps to refurbish the garden. A grand re-opening ceremony was held in 2009.

Ogden Point and Breakwater,Victoria, BC

Ogden Point, located at the beginning of the scenic Dallas Road, is a place where you may want to stop to enjoy the views.

Ogden Point was first built in the early 20th century by the City of Victoria as a result of the opening of the Panama Canal, and the expected increase in shipping that would result from it.

Ogden Point in Victoria is a deep water port facility which is probably most well known for the hundreds of cruise ships that make port here mostly over the summer months.

You will often find local fisherman casting their lines from the concrete blocks below, hoping to catch the “big one”

The side of the breakwater has also been painted with beautiful First Nations artwork.
Don't forget to Visit Ogden Point ,when Visiting Beautiful Victoria BC .Hope you enjoy it as much as i did.
